"tower of quiet was written and recorded between 2019 - 2021 in a couple of different basements. all recorded sounds are by mike / the exit bags.

the album's content is based on existentialism and death anxiety, and the various angles i've approached that from as i've grown as an adult. i tried to put the lowest of my depressive tendencies into sound. i don't think it's a subject that is easily romanticized, at least not for me as I approach my 30s, and i tried to avoid histrionics. it's plain-faced. less of a cathartic release, more of a pilot light. i think this is probably best listened to with headphones, seated, and left alone. but, do with it what you want.
